Healthy Cleansing Beverages

Proper hydration helps flush out toxins, improves your skin’s health and helps reduce the appearance of cellulite, wrinkles and blemishes. Drink half your body’s weight in water. For example, if you weigh 140 pounds, drink 70 ounces of water. I'll make it super easy with all of the delicious beverages listed below. The decaffeinated teas & infused drinks can count towards your daily water consumption.

My #1 Favorite detox drink for health...

Apple Cider Vinegar Lemon Water

12-20 oz water

1-2 teaspoons of unfiltered organic apple cider vinegar

1 oz lemon juice (1/3 lemon or concentrate)

(optional) 1 teaspoon raw honey, maple syrup, or stevia to sweeten

2 NOTES: Brush your teeth right after to remove acidity from teeth.

Secondly, if you feel nauseous or experience tightness in the chest after drinking this, omit the raw apple cider vinegar. This reaction can occur when the body releases bacteria and toxins during a detox. Continue to drink the lemon water without the apple cider vinegar for at least three days, and then gradually reintroduce the raw apple cider vinegar. If the reactions continue upon reintroduction, continue to drink only the lemon water.

Why Apple Cider Vinegar:

Herbal Teas

Herbal teas come in a variety of flavors and herbal remedies. They can provide an energy boost without a huge dose of caffeine. Moreover, it is yet another great way to provide hydration and antioxidants. Iced or warm herbal tea alone contains antioxidants that are 8-10 times more powerful than the ones found in fruits and vegetables. Unlike some other teas, herbal tea contains no calories, making it an ideal alternative beverage for promoting weight loss and avoiding obesity.

Research has identified many benefits associated with herbal teas, such as clear skin, improved sleeping habits, and quick relief of muscle cramps. There are many teas that help in releasing toxins in the body.
